An arm lift (brachioplasty) is the surgical procedure used to tighten loose skin of the upper arm area. A thigh lift can be performed, similar to the brachioplasty example, by removing excess inner thigh skin and creating a resultant scar along the inner aspect of each thigh. This is most often the method necessary for patients following extreme weight loss.

Liposuction is a surgical technique that may be applied to any of several parts of the body. Its purpose is to safely remove excess fat tissue that exists in those areas, leaving only small, inconspicuous, scars afterward.

Female aesthetic genital surgery, which has greatly increased in popularity over the past few years, is now widely known as labiaplasty surgery. This term is actually applied to a variety of surgical operations that may include reduction in the size and protrusion of elongated inner lips of the female genitals (labia minora), reduction of enlarged front portions of the inner lips (clitoral hood) as well as procedures to alter the size or appearance of the outer lips (labia majora).
